The Bridge - Documentary about suicides on the Golden Gate Bridge. Controversial because they show footage. Very good, not great, but good. I could not relate to a lot of it, from a "family" perspective. Maybe that is a good thing. And the long-haired leather jacket guy should have "jumped" in the beginning...that was frustrating. I also wouldn't have minded a background on the work involved to film the documentary, but maybe that was in the "extras" that I didn't watch.
Eyes Wide Shut - Seen it before, watched it again, late at night with Laurie as we both remember it being good, but didn't quite remember it in detail. I still don't care for Nicole Kidman, even more so in this movie, however, I really dig this movie. Then again, I'm a guy and it has lot's of nudity. Kind of a dark twist on a actual more than "realistic" issue of infidelity and trust.
The Cincinnati Kid - Steve McQueen...Ann-Margret...that SHOULD say it all. It was great. Not top 100 great, but up there. Steve McQueen is a great actor, and Ann-Margret in this movie...should be next to the definition of sexy (however also next to brat). Favorite scene...after Steve McQueen takes her to the cock fights, and drops her off home...the script is genius, and her acting is genius. I liked the ending to this movie too...not spectacular, which is why I liked it. P.S. Don't try to search You Tube for "cincinnati kid" the only two clips are an Ann-Magret clip (and not a great one) and the entire ending to the movie.
I started watching a few Hitchcock movies, but fell asleep, so I need to finish watching Rear Window and Dial M for Murder...from what I saw, they were great....but it's Hitchcock what did you expect?

I have never seen Eyes Wide Shut. Maybe I should rent it.
Rear Window is my favorite Hitchcock and up there with my favorite movies of all time. James Stewart and Grace Kelly together rule me.
Dial M for Murder is also a great movie. I am such a movie slut when it comes to Hitchcock cause I love everything he has made.
Leather jacket guy wouldn't just do it. hah
