Day 2.
Still away from home in Bumblefuck, NY on business. Therefore, I was pretty much stuck with crap to eat as being pressed for time, and 3 other hungry employees brings you to places like Panera Bread for breakfast. Have you ever been in there? I feel like I absorb carbs before I even walk through the door. As tempting as it was to get a cinnamon crunch, french toast bagel or a few chocolate chip muffies (muffin tops). I managed to squeak out still with "shit" for breakfast. A toasted multi-grain bagel with low-fat spread. I redeemed myself a little bit by not using spread...maybe half a teaspoon at MOST.
When you are dieting and used to eating crap, and a lot of it...when dieting, even crappy food tastes good.
I had a medium coffee with skim milk as well.
For lunch, we stopped on the way home to a pizza place/Italian place. I got a small side salad, no dressing, which came with roasted peppers, lots of onions and cucumbers. I didn't eat any of the onions for fear my co-driver/co-worker would pass out from my breath, but I did manage to eat about 3/4 of the salad....so yeah, I had 3/4 a plate of lettuce cucumbers and roasted peppers. And a diet Dr. Pepper. 0 calories, but still bad...however I needed a little caffeine for the car ride home in the torrential down pour.
I got home early, about 3:30pm. I made MY homemade turkey burgers. I'm too lazy to write out the recipe right now, but the ingredients consisted of:
Lean turkey
Italian breadcrumbs (I tried to avoid, but its a necessity. However only 1Tbspn to 4 burgers)
Onions
Garlic
Worcestershire sauce
JalapeƱo peppers
salt/pepper
Parsley
1 Egg white, whipped
Then I made 1 can of french cut green beans. Moms homemade pickles (I tried to like them, but I'd rather vlasic...she's still perfecting them) and applesauce.
Ketchup on the George Forman cooked burger, and no bun.
Pellegrino to drink.
Yum.
Here is what I looked like after dinner.
at 169lbs!!! Ouch. I need to loose 20lbs. Goal is 150 with a 6pack.
Well, this morning I woke up and weighed myself again, and was 168lbs. I lost 1 lb in most likely water weight in 2 days. Expected. I also haven't shit in 2 days (being away from home stage freight and all) I plan on loosing a good pound to the porcelain potty today.
Diet Day 2 - Total Loss 1lb.
